At Atman Kalari Yoga Centre, our Kizhi program is a powerful Ayurvedic rejuvenation therapy designed to strengthen the body, relieve deep-seated tension, and restore natural vitality. Rooted in traditional healing wisdom, this 7-day program supports physical renewal while promoting balance and well-being.

Program Benefits

Deep Rejuvenation & Pain Relief
Kizhi therapy involves the rhythmic application of warm herbal poultices over the body to stimulate circulation and release accumulated stiffness. The heat and herbal potency penetrate deep into muscles and joints, helping to reduce pain, improve mobility, and revitalize weakened tissues. This therapy is especially beneficial for fatigue, muscle soreness, joint discomfort, and overall physical exhaustion.

Strengthening & Detoxification
Through gentle sweating and improved blood flow, Kizhi supports the body’s natural detoxification process. The therapy nourishes muscles and nerves, enhances flexibility, and promotes faster recovery after physical activity. Over the course of seven days, participants often experience increased strength, lightness in the body, and renewed energy.

Holistic Healing Experience
The Kizhi therapy is integrated with Kalari Payattu, Yoga Asana, Meditation, and Satsang, creating a complete healing environment. Kalari enhances strength and stamina, Yoga improves flexibility and balance, and Meditation calms the mind and reduces stress. Together, these practices support holistic healing, rejuvenation, and personal well-being.

Daily Schedule

  • 5:20 am – Wake up
  • 6:00 am – Satsang (group meditation, chanting and talk)
  • 6:30 am – Kalari Payattu or Asana Session ( Optional )
  • 8:00 am – Tea
  • 10:00 am – Brunch (Indian vegetarian meal)
  • 11:00 am – Karma Yoga (selfless service)
  • 12:30 pm – Kizhi Treatment
  • 1:30 pm – Tea
  • 2:00 pm – Lecture (talks on various yoga topics)
  • 5:00 pm – Kalari or Asana Classes ( Optional )
  • 6:30 pm – Dinner (Indian vegetarian meal)
  • 8:00 pm – Satsang (group meditation, chanting and talk)
  • 10:00 pm – Lights out
